What customers say?

“ We loved everything. The service, both at the bar and in the restaurant, was excellent; they were incredibly attentive, and the waiter's suggestions were spot on. We really enjoyed the food: the rice with beef cheek, the cod fritters, the broken eggs with black pudding, the ham croquettes, and the rice with potatoes... everything was fantastic. For dessert, we had serradura (a type of Catalan pastry) and creamy yogurt... delicious. The chef was very friendly. We'll definitely be back. ”

“ What a wonderful menu lunch for 13€. Excellent food and service from the staff. I wish I lived near and would surely come often. Highly recommended. ”

“ We were coming back from the Ávila area for a long weekend with my family. Searching Google, I found that this restaurant had a good and varied menu and a very tasty-looking menu. We decided to detour off the A66 La Plata highway to eat here, and it was a good decision. We ordered a 20-euro weekend menu, including rice for the first course and a spectacular pork shoulder for the main course. My wife ordered a coral chicken salad for the first course and a cachopo for the main course. Everything was delicious and the ingredients were top-notch. The only downside is the outdoor patio where the bathrooms are, where people go out to smoke instead of going outside. ”

“ Unbeatable restaurant!! We stumbled upon this restaurant unintentionally because it was on our way there on our trip, and we couldn't have been luckier. The menu was 13 euros, including a drink and dessert, and each dish was delicious. It was impossible to choose... quality ingredients, even the potatoes on the side were homemade... finger-licking good. The waiter was also super friendly and attentive to us, a 10/10 for this place. The only shame... it's so far from Andalusia. We'd come here every Sunday for lunch! ”

“ Good food, friendly staff, reasonably priced. We will advise it to our guests!! ”

“ Food Review – El Marqués Restaurant El Marqués presents itself as a temple of traditional cuisine reinterpreted with respect and character. In a cozy setting, the experience begins with huevos rotos (broken eggs) that are surprisingly simple and well executed: the expertly cut potato, precisely browned, provides a crunchy contrast to the creaminess of the yolk, which opens like a golden thread, uniting flavors and textures in harmony. A humble dish that, in the hands of a kitchen attentive to detail, rises to the status of a must-try. The next course was the cheeks, a true display of slow and patient cooking. The meat, tender and delicate, melted at the slightest touch of the fork, while the dark and glossy sauce revealed deep layers of flavor, with a perfect balance between the power of the stew and the softness of the bite. It is a dish that speaks of tradition, low heat, and respect for the product, with that ability to comfort and impress at the same time. The pairing suggested by the house was especially successful: a medium-bodied red wine with gentle tannins and a long finish, capable of cleansing the palate after the intensity of the sauce, but also elegantly accompanying the creaminess of the scrambled eggs. A success that demonstrates discernment in the wine cellar and sensitivity in the service. Overall, El Marqués offers honest and refined cuisine that knows how to extract the best of tradition and present it with technique and good taste. An experience that leaves the memory of a well-served table and a grateful palate, and that definitely justifies the visit. By the way, I'm a food critic :) ”
